Once you open a recipe card, you can see the ingredient list, the instructions, and the time it takes to prepare a recipe.  There are several options you have on each recipe card.

Click Actions on the recipe card to access the following features:

  1. Print a recipe when you want a PDF or paper version of the recipe.
  2. Modify a recipe if you want to make some changes to the original recipe.

    • Modifying the recipe will change the Origin of that recipe to Real Plans - (Modified) so you can easily find the ones that you have changed
    • To revert the recipe back to the original version, open the recipe card, click Actions > Revert

  3. Schedule allows you to select the day and meal time when you want the recipe scheduled in your meal planner.
    • For calendar-free meal plans, it will add the recipe to the current plan.
  4. Nutritional info allows you to view the nutritional facts for the recipe
    • For more information about the nutritional information on our recipes, please check out the Real Plans Nutrition Facts.

    • When you modify an existing recipe or import a new recipe, sometimes the system is not able to recognize an ingredient in the ingredient list. If you would like to enter the nutritional information for that recipe, log in through the website, click Actions on the recipe card and then select Edit nutritional info.

  5. Never see again means that the recipe will not appear in your Meal Planner in the future
  6. Mark a recipe as a favorite by clicking the heart icon.
  7. Click the X to close the recipe card.
  8. You can view recipe ratings and provide your own rating.
    • Click on the stars to view the current ratings.
    • Rate a recipe by clicking on the stars and then selecting Rate this recipe.
    • Edit your rating by clicking on the stars and selecting Edit your rating
    • Remove a rating by clicking on the stars and selecting the X next to Remove rating
  9. Tags are a way to label and organize your recipes to make them easier to search for in your recipe box. While we provide some tags to get you started, you can add as many as you like.
    • Click the + under the TAGS area and use the dropdown menu to select the tag that you want to add
    • If the tag is not already in the list, create a new tag by selecting Manage tags
