During the initial set up of your meal planner, you selected several default values. If you find that you need to change any of those, you can make that change in your settings at any time.
Access your Advanced Settings
- Click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the website (this is where you access your Settings)
- Click on My Meal Plan or Whole30 Meal Plan
On this page you can make changes to several settings which are applied universally in your meal planner.
- Use the arrows to change the number of people you cook for, which will be the default number of servings a scheduled recipe will make.
- Choose the day that you want your weekly meal plan to start
- This option is only available in the meal planning styles that use a calendar
- Schedule seasonal recipes should be toggled to On if you only want to use seasonal produce in the meal plan.
- For example, recipes with summer vegetables would be scheduled during the summer only
- Toggle to Off if you would like to include produce that may not be in season
- This option is only available in the meal planning styles that use a calendar
- Toggle Send weekly emails to On if you would like to receive a weekly email that contains your meal plan
- Toggle the Recipe measurement button to US (green) or metric (white)
- Temperatures and measurements will be in the selected units
- Check the box next to any of the listed appliances that you have available to use
Be sure to click Update Advanced Settings to save your changes.

Wellness Mama Cookbook
If you have the add-on subscription for the Wellness Mama recipe collection and you own a physical copy of the Wellness Mama Cookbook, you can leave this toggle on to easily schedule recipes from her cookbook in your meal plan. That allows you to have the ingredient list for those recipes on your Shopping List, but you will have to use your physical cookbook for the instructions.
- Toggle the Wellness Mama Cookbook functions off if you do not have a copy of her cookbook
