How to Add a Whole30 Template

If you don't need to customize your schedule or add any other dietary restrictions, you can select from our pre-made templates that provide 3 meals a day, 7 days a week to help you rock your Whole30.

If you are using the website, you will follow the steps below. If you are using the mobile app, click here to learn how to add a template for your Whole30 meal plan.

Add a Template

  • Click Planner in the upper left corner
  • Click the drop down arrow on the right side of the screen and select View Templates

  • Use the drop down arrow to Pick a template; choose from:
    • Quick and Easy Whole30: Recipes that save you time in the kitchen 
    • Budget Whole30: Recipes that keep you on budget
    • Winter Whole30: Recipes to fill you up and keep you warm that are perfect for the colder, winter months
  • Pick the start day for your Whole30 using the calendar icon
    • This is the day when the template will begin
  • Select if you would like to overwrite your existing plan or add to your existing plan
    • If you select Overwrite existing plan, all of the recipes that have been scheduled will be removed, and the template recipes are added; if there is a recipe scheduled that week that you wish to keep, you may want to print the plan for that week or make a note of it before you make this change
    • If you add select Add to existing plan, the template recipes will be added to the meal plan, while leaving the recipes that have been scheduled on the plan as well 
  • Click Apply Template

Remove a Template

 If you have a week when you would like a different plan, you can remove the template for that week.

  • Click Planner in the upper left corner
  • Click the drop down arrow on the right side of the screen and select View Templates
  • Click the X next to the week that you would like to remove
    • Confirm that you want to remove the template from that week
    • This will remove the template only from that week
    • To remove them from all weeks, you will need to click the x next to each week
  • Close the pop-up window
  • You will need to manually schedule recipes or allow the meal planner to select them for you
