How to Add a Recipe to your Meal Planner from the Recipe Box (Website)

Sometimes you may want to manually schedule a recipe that you have found in your Recipe Box.

If you are using the website, you will follow the steps below. If you are using one of the mobile apps, please click here.

Open the Recipe Box

  • Click Recipe Box in the upper left of your Meal Planner

Schedule a recipe

  • Find a recipe that you are interested in making
  • Hover your cursor over the recipe
    • Choose to View the full recipe or
    • Click Schedule or Add to meal plan to schedule it in your planner

  • To add a recipe for which you have the Recipe Card open:
    • Click Actions on the top right of the recipe card
    • Select Schedule or Add to meal plan from the drop down menu
  • If you are using Calendar Meal Planning, in the Schedule pop up window
    • Choose the calendar date
    • Choose the meal time
  • If you are using Simple Meal Planning, the recipe will be added to the meal plan that is currently in use
