Manage your shops
Keeping the names of your favorite stores up to date on your plan will help keep you organized and make grocery shopping easier.
From your Meal Planner, select Shopping List and click Actions > Manage Shops on the top right of your screen.
From there, you'll be able to add or remove shops. Don't forget to add the farmers market or online stores if that is the way you do your shopping.
Note: You won’t see your new shops on your Shopping List until you assign ingredients to them. Let's take a look at the ways you can manage your ingredients, including how to assign specific ingredients to your shops.
Manage Your Ingredients
For each ingredient, you can choose the store where you would like to purchase them and the department of the store where you'll find it.
From the Shopping List, hover your cursor over the ingredient. You will see the recipes that this ingredient appears in for the week. Click View Ingredient.
An ingredient card will open and you can add any details that you want, including the shop where you find it.
You can even add your own photo of ingredients. This is especially helpful if someone else is doing your shopping for you. You can take a photo of the exactly what you want.
You can also select and entire food category to organize it according to shop. Hover over the category in your shopping list and select the shop that you prefer. For instance, you might want to get all of your meat/seafood at the butcher.
Managing your shops and ingredients in this way will help you make the most out of your grocery shopping trip and help you get delicious, wholesome food on your table!
