How to Create Your Own Tags to Search and Schedule Recipes

Tags are a way to label and organize your recipes to make them easier to search for in your recipe box. While we provide some tags to get you started, you can add as many as you like.

Mobile app users: Tags can only be added through our website at this time. You can use your phone's web browser to access our website at

Open a recipe card:

  • Click on the recipe from your Meal Planner or Recipe Box


Add a tag:

  • Click the + under the TAGS area
  • From the dropdown menu, click on the tag that you want to add

Create a tag:

  • Click the + under the TAGS area
  • In the dropdown box, select Add new tag
  • In the pop up box, type the name of the tag you want to create
  • Click +
  • The new tag will appear in the TAGS section of the recipe card for that recipe
    • Once you create a tag, it will appear in the dropdown list and can be used to tag other recipes

Remove a tag:

  • Tags that you have added can be removed by clicking the X next to the tag
  • Tags that do not have an X cannot be removed
